Badge Engineering is a strange, mystical, yet wonderful thing.

Troopbaru.
So can I say that since my first vehicle was a ‘91 Trooper XS that it was basically a WRX STi?

The Isuzu Trooper is the prostitute of the SUV world.

I believe this was the badge on the steering wheel, because the driver probably needed to be reminded that Lotus was involved...

This must have been at the peak of Lotus’s incompetence, because I’m pretty sure a Trooper doesn’t handle as much as it rolls onto it’s roof.

The ‘80s and early ‘90s were hard on Lotus.
